post gdc: learning Fusion 360
GDC ate the last 3 months of my life. Seems like we did ok though. The 15 sessions I was running all had great attendance with standing room only in many sessions. I'm totally exhausted, fighting the urge to just sleep the day away by teaching myself Autodesk's Fusion 360 software. Its a free modern cad package designed for use with CAD/CAM/3d printing hardware. I'm trying to design a replacement bezel for cheap Casio digital watches. The idea is create something like a miniature Pip-boy.
I'm sitting here surrounded by chunks of laser cut perspex and barbie dolls, feels like my new film is making good progress to completion. Work wise, VR, AR and MR are still white hot and I'm getting pretty interested in Photogrammetry too.
