However this also obstructs your view of the object and can be confusing if you have a lot of audio sources. Fortunately it is easy to toggle on and off from the gizmo rollout. You can also use this to toggle other features displayed in the editor. Quite handy!
In the scene editor, audio sources render with a screen space aligned icon of a speaker which helps you see which objects have sounds attached to them.

Several layers of billboard sprites with animation keyed off of an audio sample means this severed stone head has lip sync. Unity rocks!
Annotating Google Maps is fun and useful. For a recent trip to darkest Wales, I planned out my journey as shown below: I was shooting using an Infrared converted digital compact from Kolari Vision. I used to shoot a lot of Kodak HIE and I have to say that shooting digital is much easier and some of the results are spectacular. I particularly don't miss loading a fragile ancient all mechanical SLR in complete darkness, which often involved the use of the darkest room in the house (toilet). It was a busy weekend for game developers in San Francisco this weekend. Saturday was Day of the Devs and Sunday the Tapsense Hacker Bus left for LA, full of NVIDIA Shield portables.
Got to try some some awesome VR demos at Day of the Devs as well as getting to check idarb in person finally! I also got into a fight with some Unity sprites and wrote some custom shaders... |
