Needed some horror music for the Spider Attack. Cranked this out in Acid Studio in about 10 minutes. I guess downloading all those 8packs over the years was worth it after all. Here is a screen shot of the Acid loop creation tool I used to make the track.

After some frustration learning about blueprints I now have baby spiders spawning and chasing me around the level... they are so cute.   Learning Unreal Engine. Attaching blueprints to the spiders to control their behavior. This will be for a VR minigame. You are trapped in an ruined apartment complex being attacked by mutant spiders. So typical Thursday night really.
 This is a fun use of Augmented Reality using natural tracking markers. Temporary ( I hope ) tattoos used as markers allow you to invoke magic animals. From holotats.
We did a bunch of work with natural markers on PS Vita and it was a lot of fun. I could see a game where you have to collect markers in the real world. Imagine if every McDonald's logo held a different monster. Like Pokemon Go but "proper AR" :-) |
